Description

Spend six-weeks over Summer 2023 in Indonesia & gain credit towards your degree!

The Program

The ACICIS Agriculture Professional Program (APP) provides students with a unique opportunity to gain professional experience and establish networks in Indonesia. Students will undertake Indonesian language and cultural classes, and seminars about the agriculture industry in Indonesia covering topics such as urban farming, national food security, tropical agriculture, sustainable agriculture and conservation. Students will complete a professional placement (160-hour internship) with a local or international organisation which matches their interests, i.e. agriculture, agribusiness, sustainability, resource management, food security, conservation, environmental science and more! This program allows students to complete intensive study over the summer university break.

No background in Indonesian language is required to participate in this program. More information on this study option is available here: https://www.acicis.edu.au/programs/practicum/2023-agriculture-professional-practicum-app/.
