We are currently looking for two undergraduate students from ANU to undertake an internship in our Canberra office. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real world projects while receiving mentoring from our experienced experts. You’ll also be in a position to build your skills using the ArcGIS platform and have a front row seat to how GIS technology is making a difference in some of the country’s most important initiatives.

Summary:
Esri Australia is looking for two interns who are passionate about the use of GIS in improving national quality of life. The project will be a report and presentation on the use of GIS for one of the following topics:
- Carbon farming site suitability analysis
- Canberra Light Rail Stage 2 accessibility assessment
- Environmental impacts on health conditions
Interns are welcome to nominate their own topic idea.
The project will include three phases:
- Training for desktop GIS tools and web applications
- Research and development of
- Presentation and report using web GIS applications
