Bush Heritage Australia is looking for a PhD student who meets some or all of the criteria below:
- Tertiary qualification and experience in ecology of Australian native habitats.
- High level research and problem-solving skills to gather all available data from dispersed sources.
- High level skills in spatial and statistical analysis (ARCGIS and R) relevant to ecological condition assessments.
- Well-developed facilitation/interview skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and dispersed staff and volunteers, collaborators, regional bodies, and representatives of other organisations.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of computer proficiency including ARCGIS and with basic packages including word processing, spread sheets, data software and editing and a high level of competence in Microsoft Office.
