Description

Edenvale Foods is seeking to engage a PhD candidate with expertise in health nutrition who can help it validate several existing formulations, assist in developing several new formulations and assess the optimal processes and production conditions that will maintain and maximise the ingredient properties in the formulation.

The broad research tasks to be conducted are to inform the project deliverables which are:

  • validate several existing formulations; and
  • assist in developing several new formulations; and
  • assess the optimal processes and production conditions that will maintain the ingredient properties in the formulations.

As such the research tasks are to:

  • Research the phytonutrient qualities of the ingredients being used and any processing parameters that enable them to maintain optimal active qualities.
  • Research the optimal processing methods for existing formulations (formulations and product claims to be provided)
  • Research any improvements to formulations and/or processing methods that would further substantiate and validate the product claims.
