Students interested in a Public Health Immersion Program:

ACICIS’ Summer: Public Health Immersion Program (PHIP) | Study Programs

See first-hand how the public health system works in Indonesia with the PHIP, a four-week immersive program covering topics like maternal and child health, nutrition, communicable and non-communicable diseases, mental health, and more.

Through a range of seminars from leading health professionals, policy makers and community health workers and field visits to health care facilities, organisations and schools, this program offers unique insight into the public health challenges facing Indonesia. The PHIP includes the opportunity to network and discuss health issues with Indonesian undergraduate students through collaborations with Universitas Indonesia.

ANU Credit available: 6 units, SCNC1002

Total Cost: $7,097

NCP Grants Available: $4,000

Program Inclusions: Four weeks of seminars and field trips (two weeks in Jakarta and two weeks in Yogyakarta). Program activities run week days from 9am-4pm and there will be free time some afternoons. Accommodation, most meals and in-country transport are also included.

Program Partner: University of Indonesia

No background in Indonesian language is required to participate in the programs

 

Grant Eligibility

You may be eligible to receive a $4,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant. Click here to see if you meet the eligibility criteria.

There is no separate application for a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant. All students are strongly encouraged to apply and will have their eligibility to receive a grant assessed as part of the application process.
