About

The Public Health Response and Capability (PHRAC) section is located within the Population Health Division of ACT Health Directorate. PHRAC is a multidisciplinary team with the goal to lead and collaborate to identify, plan, prepare for and manage increasingly complex, and often novel, public health threats. We work across the health sector, Governments and the community to plan, prepare for and sustainably manage response to current and emerging public health threats.

Location

ACT Health Directorate staff follow a hybrid working arrangement.  Some in-office time (one day per week) will be offered located at Bowes St, Woden, ACT.

Summary:

The student will complete a project to support the policy, planning, preparedness and/or response to health emergencies. This may include research, analysis and review of policy, procedures; research and planning for new or enhanced capabilities; review or evaluation of emergency planning or response; contribution to policy related to public health capability in the ACT.
