The Australian National University Investment Office is responsible for the management of the $1.3b Long Term Investment Pool (LTIP) and a $400m treasury portfolio (GCF). The Long Term Investment Pool is a multi-asset class, multi-currency investment portfolio. The University’s Socially Responsible Investment Policy guides the investment of the portfolio. Summary:

The intern will assist the Investment Analyst (ESG) in preparing the University’s 2023 SRI Policy report, which will be published on the ANU website. The SRI Policy report evaluates the ANU’s investment portfolio against the University’s SRI Policy targets, which include carbon intensity targets, industry-based exclusions, and others. The intern will assist in both the data analysis and report composition aspects. If time permits, the intern will have the opportunity to investigate other ESG targets/metrics currently used in the industry and their applicability to ANU’s investments.
