Tailoring the Cybertongue® for Applications in Food Safety and Quality Monitoring - you will work directly with the founder of an early-stage startup, commercialising a deep technology platform invented by the CSIRO. You will work in an innovation hub on the ANU campus and within the Black Mountain Labs of the CSIRO.

PPB Technology, a Canberra start-up, is looking for:

  • The intern should ideally have a strong interest in translating cutting edge research into products and services that solve real-world problems, within a commercially-focussed technology business.
  • It is essential that the intern be highly-skilled in setting up and performing biochemical assays and capable of making up solutions, pipetting accurately and reproducibly, and using highly sophisticated laboratory instruments.
  • The intern must be capable of close attention to detail, diligently performing repetitive tasks and keeping comprehensive and accurate records.
  • The intern must have good interpersonal skills as they may be required to liaise with customers, career research scientists, and professionals from a range of business functions.
