An internship is an opportunity for you to work in an organisation on an agreed project for approximately 1–2 days a week for a semester. There may also be opportunities for intensive internships during semester breaks, where you would work 4 or 5 days per week over 3 or 4 weeks.

Internship projects are available at different levels, to undergraduates (SCNC 2000 and SCNC 3000), postgraduates (SCNC 8000) and research candidates (SCNC8001 or HLMD9001). To be eligible for an internship, you must have at least a Distinction average across all subjects.

Current HDR students can email hdr.cos@anu.edu.au or hdr.chm@anu.edu.au to enquire whether projects can be incorporated into their PhD program.
